Fresh Timeline Announced for Registration and Seat Allotment

Medical Counselling Committee has revised the Round 1 schedule of NEET UG Counselling 2026. The committee has given more time for registration and choice filling. As per the new plan, the Round 1 seat allotment result will now come out on August 19.
Key Dates Under Revised Schedule
Candidates can still register for Round 1 and pay the fee till August 15. Registration window will close at 2 pm on that day while payment facility will stay open till 5 pm. The choice-filling process which started on August 6 will continue till 6 pm on August 17.
On August 17 itself candidates will get chance to lock their choices between 10 am and 6 pm. After that MCC will process the seat allotment on August 18 and declare the Round 1 result the next day on August 19.
Students are advised to complete all steps within the given time so that they do not miss the first round of counselling.
