NBEMS is all set to upload the provisional answer key for NEET PG 2026 pretty soon now that the re-exam at some centers has finished. Candidates who took the test can download it from the official site nbe.edu.in once they log in with their details.
As per the information bulletin, the board will share question ID numbers, the correct answers, and also the response sheets through the applicant login. The marks given for each question according to the marking scheme will be shown there too.
This is actually the first time NBEMS is releasing a provisional answer key for NEET PG. They decided to do this after the Supreme Court ordered them to make the raw scores, answer keys and normalisation details public so everything stays transparent.
How to download NEET PG 2026 answer key and response sheet
Once the board puts it up, candidates can follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official website nbe.edu.in
- Click on the NEET PG 2026 section on the homepage
- Sign in with your login credentials
- Look for the active link for answer key and response sheet
- The file will open on the screen
- Download it and save for later use
You can also try calculating your expected score using the provisional key and your response sheet.
This year NBEMS held NEET PG 2026 on 30 August in one single shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm. A total of 2,73,096 candidates registered and 2,65,980 of them appeared at 1111 centers across the country. Around 2,63,535 candidates managed to finish the exam properly. But due to power failure problems at Sitapura centers in Jaipur, a re-exam was conducted on 5 September from 3 pm for those affected candidates.
The board should release the answer keys anytime now on the same website. So candidates who are waiting for their response sheets need to keep checking the NBEMS portal regularly for any new updates.
