B.M. Sir’s Key Observations on RE-NEET 2026
Noted educator and NEET expert B.M. Sir shared his detailed analysis of the RE-NEET 2026 examination held on June 21, 2026, and his views align closely with the ground-level student reactions pouring in from across the country.
Physics & Chemistry: “Toughest Combo This Year”
B.M. Sir pointed out that Physics and Chemistry proved to be significantly tougher in RE-NEET 2026 compared to previous years — a view strongly echoed by students and multiple coaching institutes. Physics consumed the maximum time due to lengthy numerical questions, while Chemistry tested conceptual application across all three branches.
Physics leaned heavily on formula-based, calculation-intensive, and application-driven questions, with Class 12 topics carrying slightly more weight, and time pressure was the single most repeated complaint among students leaving exam centres.
According to B.M. Sir, Chemistry broke all records of difficulty this time, surprising even well-prepared aspirants. Students found Chemistry tricky, with NCERT-based statement and assertion-reasoning questions designed to test conceptual depth, and Physical Chemistry being particularly time-consuming.

The 2025 Biology Effect — Why Physics Was Neglected
In a sharp insight, B.M. Sir noted that in 2025, Biology was so engaging and scoring that a large number of aspirants focused their preparation time heavily on it — at the cost of Physics. This year, that strategy backfired. Physics emerged as the most time-consuming section, Chemistry required strong application skills, and Biology remained largely NCERT-driven despite being relatively lengthy.

Biology: Easier This Time — But Not Enough to Cushion Scores
Based on student reactions, Biology was the most scoring section in the exam, with questions directly based on NCERT, covering topics like Genetics, Plant Physiology, Reproduction, Human Physiology, and Ecology. However, B.M. Sir indicated that with Physics and Chemistry being so demanding this time, strong Biology scores alone may not push the cutoff as high as previous years.

Expected Cutoff: 550–560 or Below
Based on his assessment of the paper’s overall difficulty, B.M. Sir predicted the general category cutoff to be approximately 550–560 marks, or possibly lower.
A paper that is harder in Physics and Chemistry but forgiving in Biology typically produces one of two outcomes — either the cutoff holds close to last year’s range because strong Biology scores cushion overall percentiles, or it dips slightly if enough candidates lost significant time to Physics.

The Extra 15 Minutes Factor
NTA provided an additional 15 minutes to every student for exam centre formalities, giving aspirants a total of 195 minutes. B.M. Sir acknowledged this had an impact on results — while the extra time helped some students revisit Physics numericals, it could not fully offset the paper’s difficulty. Experts had suggested using the extra 15 minutes specifically for checking Physics numericals

B.M. Sir’s Message to Parents: “Don’t Pressurize Your Child”
In a heartfelt appeal, B.M. Sir urged parents not to pressurize their children regarding the RE-NEET 2026 results. Acknowledging the emotional toll of appearing in a re-examination — after the May 3 paper was cancelled due to a leak — he reminded parents that their child’s mental health matters far more than any score.
“Students have already gone through a lot with the paper leak controversy and the stress of a re-exam. Parents should be their strength, not their pressure.” — Brajesh Maheshwari Sir

B.M. Sir’s analysis offers a grounded, experience-backed perspective on RE-NEET 2026. With Physics and Chemistry emerging as clear difficulty spikes and Biology being more accessible, the expected cutoff range of 550–560 (or lower) gives some hope to aspirants who found the paper challenging. Results and official answer keys are now awaited from NTA.
