9th Fail Student Yash Sharma Cracks Re-NEET 2026: Inspired by 12th Fail Movie

From failing in 9th class to cracking NEET – this Yash Sharma NEET success story proves that it is never too late to chase your dreams.

In the latest NEET results, many success stories are coming out. But one story from Uttar Pradesh is truly special. It’s about Yash Sharma, a boy who failed in 9th standard, got removed from school, and later became a doctor by cracking Re-NEET 2026.

Who is Yash Sharma?

Yash Sharma belongs to Rasna village near Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. In 2019, he was studying in a CBSE school but failed in 9th class. The school asked his parents to take him out because they said his result will affect the school’s performance. After that, his family opened a small cosmetics shop for him in the village. Yash started going to Delhi to bring products and sell them.

Yash Sharma NEET success story is very rare.

Everything looked normal – until he watched one movie that changed his life.

How ’12th Fail’ Movie Changed Yash Sharma’s Life

After completing 12th with 63% marks, Yash was running his shop. One day he watched the Bollywood movie “12th Fail”, which is based on the real story of IPS officer Manoj Sharma.

The movie deeply inspired him. Yash thought, “If a 12th fail student can become an IPS officer, then why can’t a 9th fail student become a doctor?”

With strong support from his elder brother (who has done B.Tech), Yash left the shop and moved to Kota for NEET preparation in 2024. He joined Allen Coaching Institute.

Yash Sharma’s NEET Journey

  • First Attempt (2025): He scored 475 marks. It was not enough for a government MBBS seat in the general category.
  • Second Attempt (Re-NEET 2026): He improved a lot and scored 564 marks with All India Rank 27,106.

Now, Yash is expected to get admission in a government MBBS college in Uttar Pradesh.

Family Support and Background

Yash comes from a simple family. His father Sanjay Sharma is a halwai, and his mother Baby Sharma is a housewife. His elder brother played a big role in encouraging him to study. Even after facing many difficulties, the whole family stood together and gave him one more chance.

Dr. Brijesh Maheshwari from Allen Coaching said that Yash had amazing determination. When Yash first contacted him, he wrote: “If 12th fail can become IPS, then 9th fail can also become doctor.”

Why This NEET Success Story is So Inspiring

Yash Sharma’s story is not just about clearing NEET. It is about:

  • Overcoming failure in 9th class
  • Leaving a running business for studies
  • Fighting against all odds
  • Proving that past mistakes don’t decide your future

This 9th fail to NEET success journey shows the power of self-belief and hard work. Many students who feel demotivated after low marks or failures can take inspiration from Yash.
