Students Growing Restless Over Extended Wait

Thousands of aspirants who appeared for UGC NET, ICAR and CSIR exams is still left without any clear word from National Testing Agency on the June 2026 answer key. The tests took place between June 22 and 30, yet the provisional key has not come out till now. This delay has become the longest one seen in recent years. Normally the key used to come out in just few days or maximum two weeks after the exam got over.
Frustrated Candidates Reach Out but Get Little Clarity
With no proper date announced by NTA, many students started sending emails, making calls and posting on social media to get some information. The replies they got is mixed. Some was simply told that no details is available right now and they should wait for official announcement. A few candidates claimed their repeated phone calls got cut midway. Others said the emails only received auto acknowledgement and nothing more about when the answer key or result will come.
Agency Keeps Posting Other Notices While Key Remains Missing
Interestingly, NTA has not stopped putting out other updates during this period. On LinkedIn it shared posts about deputation vacancies and also put reminders related to older NEET UG and SWAYAM matters. Many aspirants is now asking why the answer key for such a major exam is getting delayed when the agency is active on other fronts.
As per latest indications the provisional answer key for UGC NET June 2026 may come out sometime this week. Students is hoping the wait ends soon.
